About Me
My name is Bill Streeter and I am an award-winning producer, web designer, graphic artist and photographer. I’m probably best known for creating the first of it’s kind music and culture podcast Lo-Fi Saint Louis which as been featured in iTunes and has been nominated for a Streamy, won a Vloggie and a bunch of other things. I have also produced videos for brands like MTV, Mountain Dew, and Village Voice Media. I’ve also done web design and consulting most recently for Pokey LaFarge, Majora Carter Goup, The Royale and Creative Saint Louis. When not producing video, I have been an advisor to the student-run television station SLU-TV at Saint Louis University. And I occasionally write about social media, business and technology for the Riverfront Times. I am also a contributing editor for Creative Saint Louis.
I’m naturally a very curious person, and my interests are very broad. I enjoy everything from food (cooking and gardening), music, television, film and history to technology (of course). I am currently producing a feature-length film entitled Brick By Chance and Fortune, which is about our rich heritage of brick architecture in St. Louis.
While it may be easy to mistake me for a native Saint Lousian, I am not. I moved to St. Louis in 2001 from Chicago after losing my job with an Internet firm when the first Internet bubble burst and never looked back. I love St. Louis, warts and all!
I am available for speaking engagements, freelance work of the creative sort or training and consulting in the areas of video production for the web, web design, and social media or just to hang out. You can download my résumé here (pdf).
